Introducing Shawn, a humble entrepreneur with a penchant for adventure and a heart for service! For 35 years, he's navigated the small business world with a quiet determination, shying away from the corporate hustle after just a brief stint.
His journey began modestly with Daycorp Mortgage, a venture that taught him the ropes of entrepreneurship. Through highs and lows, he honed his craft, eventually founding Phcs Inc in 2004, a cleaning company that flourished under his guidance, touching the lives of over 40 employees before gracefully bowing out in 2015.
But Shawn's story isn't one of grandiosity; it's a tale of growth, learning, and the occasional stumble along the way. Joining forces with the acquiring company post-sale, he found himself at the helm of expansion efforts, humbly steering the ship through strategic acquisitions and innovations.
In 2016, fate bestowed upon him the challenge of revolutionizing recruitment, a task he embraced with characteristic humility and determination. As whispers of his success spread, small business owners from coast to coast sought his guidance, turning to him and his team for recruitment solutions that transcended industry norms.
Today, Shawn wears many hats with a humility that belies his expertise. Whether he's hosting his podcast or lending his voice to others, he's a beacon of wisdom and humility. With topics ranging from Perception Leadership to the intricacies of recruiting and fostering employee-focused cultures, Shawn's conversations are as enlightening as they are enjoyable.
Outside the spotlight, Shawn finds joy in the simple pleasures of family life, cherishing moments with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Ryan and Cara, nestled in the serene embrace of Northeast Ohio.
